Why agents do well here

A small team, on purpose

There are three agents and a transaction coordinator, and we do more business than teams of ten or twelve. Less is more, and it means you’ll never get lost in a roster.

A brand that opens doors

Our proven and proprietary system for marketing homes puts the full weight of our brand and marketing behind every listing. We pay for all of it, and it’s why our homes sell 12.6% over asking on average.

Your own branded website

Every agent gets their own page on fixandfashion.com. Send clients to it, put it on your cards and signs, and build a name for yourself in the towns we serve, with our marketing working behind you.

You learn by doing the real work

You’ll work open houses with us, and you’ll learn how we price a house, how we prepare one, and how the 12 Day Plan runs. Not in a classroom. Beside us. We’re personally invested in seeing you succeed, reach your goals, and find out what you’re capable of.

What you’ll learn here

  1. The twilight photograph of 70 Davenport Farm Lane East in Stamford, brick chimneys and glowing windows under a dramatic dusk sky

How to run the perfect open house

The open house is where listings turn into offers, and you’ll learn to run it like an event people remember. Working it with us teaches you how to draw a crowd, read real buyers, and turn a weekend of foot traffic into serious offers.

  2. Michael’s handwritten pricing notes in red ink over a comparable sales sheet, sold prices highlighted in yellow

    How to price a house

You can look up pricing theory anywhere. What you can’t find on Google is how to read this market, street by street, and turn it into a number that buyers pay. You’ll develop that judgment here, and it’s the kind of knowledge that compounds over an entire career.

  3. A styled kitchen and dining nook at a Fix and Fashion listing, set for the listing photo shoot

How to get a house ready for market

Most agents list a house as it is. You’ll learn to make a home worth more before it ever hits the market: to see what buyers pay extra for, and what quietly costs you money. That eye is a skill you’ll carry into every listing for the rest of your career.

  4. The twilight photograph of 18 Channel Avenue in Norwalk, every window lit under a pink evening sky

    Our proprietary launch system

The 12 Day Plan is our proprietary launch system, built and refined on hundreds of local sales, and the results speak for it: our homes consistently sell for more than ten percent over asking. When you join, you’ll learn every part of it, start to finish. It’s the playbook most agents spend a career trying to piece together on their own.

“We don’t just give you leads, we teach you how to build a thriving career.”

Mike Tromba, co-founder

We work hard. And we have a lot of fun.

This is a family business, and the team is an extension of that. We celebrate every closing and every birthday. There’s a Valentine’s dinner every February, Thanksgiving pies delivered to every past client, and a summer party on the water. You’ll be joining people you’ll actually like, and that shows up in the work.

Come by the office on a Friday and you’ll see it yourself.
