The contractor and the designer

Mike spent 35 years as a contractor, so when he walks your home he sees exactly what it needs and what it doesn't. He writes the punch list, lines up the work, and sets the price that gets buyers competing. Kim is the design eye behind every listing. A lifelong designer, she stages each home and directs the photography so it shows its best on the market.

Together they have owned and flipped more than 20 houses and built a multifamily portfolio of their own across Norwalk. They lead Fix and Fashion, the top 1% Keller Williams team that has helped hundreds of Fairfield County families buy and sell their homes, at an average of 12% over asking on its listings.

That pairing is the whole idea behind the team. One of us walks the house with a contractor's eye, the other stages it with a designer's eye, and every decision gets made together, with you, at your own kitchen table.

Before the team, there were the flips

Before Fix and Fashion, Mike and Kim were their own clients. They bought tired houses across Norwalk, did the work with their own hands, and sold them to buyers who competed for them. More than twenty of those houses, one punch list and one staging plan at a time.

Every flip taught the same lesson. Buyers pay for how a house feels when the lights come on at dusk. Mike learned which repairs move the price and which ones just move the budget. Kim learned what a can of paint, a new light fixture, and one great photo do to a first impression.

That is the experience you get when you hire this team. They have spent their own money on the decisions you are about to make, and they learned what really pays you back. Now they bring that judgment, and their crew of trusted local contractors, to your home.

“You never get just one of us. Mike sees what the house needs, Kim makes buyers fall in love with it, and you get both working on your side of the table.”
